2022 Nissan Altima Overview

There isn’t much to get excited about when it comes to affordable sedans. The 2022 Nissan Altima, on the other hand, is an intriguing option. The Altima’s performance can be improved in a few ways, and its interior can be made more comfortable and equipped with a variety of useful features.

It’s going to be an important issue in this category of vehicles when it comes to price. Lower trims are reasonably priced, and the higher trims offer some nice upgrades while staying within a reasonable price range.

Nissan has made a few tidbits to the Altima for the 2017 model year. Firstly, the line-up has been reshuffled a bit. Because the SR is the only model with a turbocharged engine, it commands a higher price. The SV is demoted a rung in the pecking order, but the price has dropped as a result, making it more accessible. SV can be upgraded with an innovative package that includes features like heat source front seat backs and a sunroof.

Starting with the entry-level S model, buyers can choose from five different levels of trim. The SV is next, followed by the SR, and so on. The Language teaching is a great option for those who prefer a more refined look, and the Silver is the most luxurious model.

As a result, it should appeal to drivers who desire a vehicle equipped with a variety of driver-assist features as standard equipment. It’s possible that some buyers will be interested in the SV and SR’s additional technology and safety features. For an even more engaging driving experience, the SR comes equipped with 19-inch tires and paddle shifters. Premium audio and more features are available in the SL, while Silver has an even more luxurious cabin.

The 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine is conventional on the 2022 Nissan Altima. It has nearly 190 horsepower, which is more than enough for most drivers. The other option is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, but it’s not as powerful as the 3.6-liter model. The turbocharger is the primary difference. It can now abundantly be expressed to 248 horsepower as a result of this. SR VC-Turbo is only available with this engine on the SR shave, so keep that in mind.

The Nissan Altima has an all-wheel-drive option. Unfortunately, the 2.5-liter engine is the only option. There are three options for buyers to consider: all-wheel drive, turbocharged engines, or a front-wheel-drive vehicle with a standard engine and all-wheel drive.

The SR can have a sportier closure and larger wheels, which is something to keep in mind. As a consequence, it was the most vivacious trim in the entire line. The 19-inch wheels on the Platinum make it a fun car to drive.

S-level trims come standard with some entry-level features for the onboard entertainment system. The five-inch information screen on the S is complemented by a seven-inch touchscreen on the model. Both voice recognition and Bluetooth are convenient additions.

There are no Apple or Android features in the S model. The touchscreen measures eight inches and has a resolution of 7 inches on these trims. Additional features available on other trims include Satellite radio Satellite Tv and multiple USB ports in addition to smartphone compatibility.

Platinum’s built-in navigation system is one of its most alluring features. The Silver has Radio.com Traffic and Take trips Link, so drivers can get turn-by-turn directions that take into account any traffic jams along the way.

The Altima’s two rows of seats accommodate up to five people. The legroom in the backseat is about 35 inches, which should be sufficient for most adults. This car is suitable for long road trips because of the trunk’s capacity of 15.4 cubic feet; however, this isn’t a lot of space.

Nissan has a variety of seating arrangements in mind to ensure the comfort of its passengers. The driver’s seat in every trim is power-adjustable, and the front passenger seat in some models may be as well. Sport fabric and leather are available as options for the standard fabric. The leather-wrapped steering wheel on a higher-end model may have an additional heating element, as well as heated front seats.

It’s standard across the entire Altima lineup. Drivers can walk right up to their windows and unlock them using a clever key fob while keeping their keys safely tucked away in their pockets or purses. The Altima’s standard remote engine start further enhances its allure.

The Nissan Altima comes standard with driver-assist technology. Drivers who stray too far from their lanes run the risk of being involved in a frontal collision and other types of accidents. Several mechanisms, such as rear fully automated anti-lock brake and rear cross-traffic alert, are included in the SV and greater trims to help drivers avoid obstacles that aren’t always visible. It’s possible to get a better idea of what is going on in and around the Nissan from Platinum’s 360-degree camera.
