Gallery Our Opinion - 2022 Honda Hr-V Review Though it’s Honda’s smallest SUV, the HR-V is no slouch when it comes to interior space-planning magic. Even for taller passengers, the cabin has plenty of legroom in the back. Using Honda’s second-row Magic Seats, which fold flat for longer cargo or up off the surface to hold tall items, you can create a variety of clever configurations. When it comes to storage, the HR-V has a lot more room than it should. There are no tears or stains in the fabric seats of our year-long Honda HR-V SUV. Nevertheless, the interior appears to have been overlooked on in terms of quality. In addition, the base model’s infotainment screen is too small to support either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Unfortunately, driving this small SUV is a chore. All the way up to highway speed, the engine groans and squeaks with every step. We wish it had a quieter engine. The HR-AWD V’s and adequate ride height allow it to handle graded dirt roads, making it a suitable vehicle for outdoor enthusiasts. Fuel economy is good, but not as nice as some of its rivals. A Honda HR-V has a lot going for it, but the segment is becoming increasingly crowded. Competitors have better effectiveness and organizational refinement. Detailed Review of the Honda Hr-V Only one subcompact vehicle remains in Honda’s lineup: The HR-V, which is built on the Fit’s platform but isn’t offered as a standalone model. Powered by a CVT automatic transmission. With a top speed of 60mph, the HR-V was slower than its competitors in our tests. The little Honda gets 28/34 mpg city/highway with FWD. The 26-27/31 mpg rating is for the AWD models. Ratings and Features for Safety The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has given the next year Honda HR-V an overall 5 safety rating. Four stars are awarded for front and rollover tests, & five stars for side crashes. When it comes to safety, the IIHS tried to give the 2021 Honda HR-V good marks overall, but only marginal and poor marks for the headlights. The HR-V comes standard with an impressive number of active safety features. Fewer than you might expect. Adaptive cruise control, active safety braking, forward lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, collision warning, & automatic beams aren’t included until you upgrade to the top two trims. Interior and Exterior Space To make the most of its cargo space, the HR-V includes foldable 2nd seats which can be placed to accommodate items that are both long and tall. And it has a lot more cargo space & legroom in the back than Toyota C-HR. Toyota C-HR How Many Colors Are There? The HR-V comes in seven different shades of paint. Milano Red, for example, can only be had on Sport models; it isn’t available on any other trim levels. Modern Steel with a Metallic Sheen (gray) White Pearls in Platinum (extra cost) Technology There’s no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in the base model, but the higher-end trims get a touchscreen infotainment touchscreen with those features. It comes with a standard four-speaker sound system, but a six-speaker option is also available. The two top trim levels come standard with SiriusXM and HD Radio. Available Trim Levels A total of four trim levels are available for the HR-V: LX, EX, and EX-L. In our opinion, the EX trim is the best option. The upgraded six-speaker audio system, move start, heated steering wheel, a power moonroof, and most importantly Honda’s active safety features that are included in this model.
