This year, the Ascent now comes with a larger touchscreen display in the middle as standard. The 11.6-inch screen on Subaru’s newest cars makes its official debut here. Other changes include: A new Onyx Edition Limited trim. A parking camera system that works with the top down. A better approach to prevent front-end collisions. Another midsize three-row SUV is the Ford Explorer in the rugged Timberland trim level. If you don’t need a third row, look at the midsize Honda Passport or the Subaru Outback. There are a few models to choose from, but the upgrades to the Ascent in 2023 should give it a slight edge. Pros vs Cons Pros: Superior interior elements All-wheel drive comes standard, as does a high ground clearance. Exterior visibility is enhanced, and pulling power is impressive. Cons: It is far too simple to depress the gas pedal. Tire and engine noise The shoulder space in the second row is tight, and the same is true for the third. What is Invoice Pricing's Recommendation?
