2023 Subaru Ascent Overview

What’s new:

  • Different styles for the back and front
  • We’ve upgraded some of our newer methods for helping drivers.
  • New technologies included as standard in the vehicle have an expanded touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
  • The first generation of Ascents came out in 2019.

When it comes out in 2023, the Ascent, a three-row midsize SUV, will be Subaru’s most significant car. The Ascent, like the smaller Forester and Outback, comes with standard all-wheel drive and a lot of ground clearance to help you drive in bad weather or off-road. Even though it can’t go off-road like the Jeep Wrangler or Ford Bronco, the Ascent is still one of the best midsize SUVs for taking up to eight people into the wilderness.

For the 2019 model year, Subaru came out with the Ascent. In 2023, it will have several improvements. The new lights, bumpers, and grille change the front and back look. This year, the Ascent now comes with a larger touchscreen display in the middle as standard. The 11.6-inch screen on Subaru’s newest cars makes its official debut here.

Other changes include:

  • A new Onyx Edition Limited trim.
  • A parking camera system that works with the top down.
  • A better approach to prevent front-end collisions.

Invoice Pricing is like the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade, made by the same company as the Honda Pilot and the Volkswagen Atlas. Another midsize three-row SUV is the Ford Explorer in the rugged Timberland trim level. If you don’t need a third row, look at the midsize Honda Passport or the Subaru Outback. There are a few models to choose from, but the upgrades to the Ascent in 2023 should give it a slight edge.

  • Superior interior elements
  • All-wheel drive comes standard, as does a high ground clearance.
  • Exterior visibility is enhanced, and pulling power is impressive.

  • It is far too simple to depress the gas pedal.
  • Tire and engine noise
  • The shoulder space in the second row is tight, and the same is true for the third.

The Premium trim will work best for most customers. It costs about the same as the base model but has heated seats, better materials inside, blind-spot detection, and more towing power.

Subaru Ascent models include:

The base, Premium, Onyx Edition, Onyx Edition Limited, Limited, and Touring, are the six trim levels for the 2023 Subaru Ascent. All Ascents have a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a continuously variable automatic transmission that makes 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque (CVT). All vehicles come outfitted out of the box with an all-wheel drive system.
