2022 Audi Q3 Overview

Audi and “affordable” don’t usually go together in the same breath. They’re not interchangeable at all. If the Q3 is excluded, they aren’t. In 2022, Audi will introduce the Q3, a compact crossover with all the features you’ve come to expect from this brand. That’s not Audi’s greatest potent SUV, but it has sufficient luxury-oriented characteristics to experience like an Audi. 

The Q3’s gas mileage is below estimate for a luxury SUV, so buyers should expect to pay more for gas. Other than that, this vehicle is not much enjoyable to drive as some other Audis because it appears to lack pragmatic, well-sized interior small-item storage rooms. The model lineup hasn’t undergone any significant changes, so the 2022 Audi Q3 is a carryover from the previous model year. Only a few things have changed since it was reconfigured for 2019. The Prestige trim level will be eliminated in 2022, and its characteristics will be split between the Premium and Premium Plus trim levels’ Comfort and New tech bundles.

Features available on the Premium trim level include a power liftgate and LED outer headlamps and rear lights. Along with the panoramic side window, there is also a warmed steering wheel, leather interior, 8.8-inch news and entertainment touchscreen, and basic phone app assimilation via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. 

The warmed steering wheel is also available. Driver aids such as forward collision mitigating the impact, lane departure caution, and pedestrian identification with automatic braking are all included as standard.

There are even more common components if you opt for the high price plus (which would be the top-of-the-line trim tier in 2022, however the mid-tier cutting level in 2022). There are the front and reverse parking sensor detectors, keyless entrance and immobilizer, and an inductive charging pad in this model’s upper trim levels. More driver assistance features are being added, such as blind-spot tracking with back wheel oncoming cars alert.

The year 2022 will be the pinnacle. The Prestige trim level comes equipped with almost all of what you could ever like, including a larger touchscreen showcase, adaptive cruise regulates, power-folding wing mirrors, an electronic center console, and a high price audio system. Stronger competitors can achieve combined mileage of over 30 miles per gallon. In real-world tests, the Q3 only manages a combined mileage of 20 mpg in situations such as traffic jams or slow-speed urban driving. As a result, the Q3 came out ahead of the 22 mpg merge mark by many mpg.

The Audi Q3 is the mid-range SUV that competes with Audi’s more expensive models. It’s not a cheap car by any means, but it’s jam-packed with useful features as standard. If you’re only concerned about the vehicle’s underwhelming performance, all other aspects are satisfactory. Audi’s larger SUVs offer more power if you’re after that. However, the Q3 is a viable option if you’re on a strict budget.
