Spending the money gets you more F-PACE points. It reduces the 25t’s miserly 8.4-second 0-60 mph speed by a few seconds, something luxury purchasers will appreciate. The faster and more athletic, the better. 

The sport-tuned suspension provides the F-PACE a nimbleness it doesn’t have otherwise, effectively concealing the vehicle’s heaviness. The brake pedal is simple to modulate, as well as the powertrain transitions smoothly yet efficiently.
