Even though wireless charging is now standard, the X5 no longer has the extra third row that was one of its selling points when it first came out. Even though it was small and flat, the row gave families choices. BMW hasn’t said if the third row will be taken out for good, but if it is, cars like the Audi Q7, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Genesis GV80 will have an advantage. They all come with a third row as stock or extra equipment. Even so, the X5 was already a high-end SUV that people wanted.
