2024 Toyota Sequoia Overview

What’s new

  • 2024 will mostly stay the same.
  • 2023’s Sequoia’s third generation

Toyota’s colossal SUV has been overshadowed by newer, better cars in the last decade. 2017’s third-generation Sequoia changed everything. The newest Sequoia is a seven-seater SUV built on a truck chassis. It’s tough enough to haul a considerable cargo, carry several people, or do both. The Sequoia’s turbocharged hybrid V6 engine can pull over 9,000 pounds when tuned.

We don’t expect significant changes till 2024 since the Sequoia was completely redesigned last year. The Sequoia has a decent engine, rides well, and has many standard and optional tech options, making it a good pick among SUVs like the Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Expedition, and Jeep Wagoneer.

Pros

  • Powerful V6 hybrid engine.
  • Simple and advanced tech characteristics
  • A good truck-based SUV ride.
  • Pull capacity

Cons

  • Highway speeds cause wind noise.
  • Third-row seats are uncomfortable.

Toyota has not announced the 2024 Sequoia. We’ll update if anything changes, but last year’s Sequoia’s well-equipped base SR5 grade was the best value. To obtain a larger infotainment system touchscreen, motorised third-row seats, and beautiful synthetic leather upholstery, choose the optional SR5 Premium package.

Toyota Sequoia

The five-trim Toyota Sequoia is a three-row SUV. The hybrid Sequoia has a turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission: 437 hp and 538 lb-ft. Except for the four-wheel-drive TRD Pro, all grades have rear-wheel drive. All others offer 4WD.
